Jesus's disciples weren't fasting, and they were being questioned why.
One thing that I learned at church a few Sundays ago was how these disciples were called, and what they did with their teacher. They were watching learning listening imitating Jesus. It was a big deal.
Jesus wasn't having His disciples fast while He was with them. But there would be a time coming soon that that they would be fasting once He left.
Application: there is a season for everything. (Ecclesiastes 3) At that point they were in a season for being with Jesus who was preparing to save the world
My season in life: a time to love my family and love my neighbors a time for changing schools a time to refresh over the summer.
