What Jesus was doing: teaching the gospel in all the cities and villages healing every sickness and disease from among the people.
What Jesus saw: the multitudes and sickness, diseases, weary, scattered sheep without a shepherd.
What He felt: compassion
What He pointed out to His disciples:
The harvest is plentiful, workers are few.
Instruction: pray for The Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest
Application: pray for workers.
May my compassion for others be a direction into leading into helping reap the harvest. I long for a compassionate heart like Christ.
