Jesus heart was for the tax collectors and sinners and those who are sick. He spent time with them, with His disciples.
Focus: He was calling people to repentance. He called Matthew and He came
Not always did everyone come that He called. People make choices, its their choice of how to respond. There was another man mentioned before that was called and they did not call because they didn't want to give up what they had.
Application:
1. You need those close to you that follow Jesus
2. Your focus needs to be on showing mercy to those that don't know Jesus
3. Spend time with those that don't know Jesus. Eat with them.
4. Follow Jesus. When He says something, do it
