The impossible with men is always possible with God

Matthew 19:23-26

Jesus talks to His disciples sharing that it is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven.  He is commenting after watching a rich man walk away sad because Jesus had asked him to give everything up to follow Him.

It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter God's kingdom. - Jesus

His disciples question who can be saved?

Jesus - with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible

Do you think the story was all done for this rich young man?  I don't know... What I do know is this: it was still possible with God for him to turn around and be saved.  While we still live and breath on this earth, we always have the possibility to surrender and be saved.

This gives me hope:
For those I care about that have turned aside and have decided they can't give up what they have or hold close to, for Jesus.  All things are possible with God.

So looking at the stories of impossible around me, keep praying... Keep asking and asking and believing that He can.
Recognizing He gave those people free choice.  Praying that they would stop shutting Him out and once again listen to His voice.

All things are impossible with men, but when men open themselves up to the possibility of God, all things are possible.
